PLYWOOD

Wood, better than wood!

The concept of plywood dates back to the 18th century and its potential is truly catapulted in the 19th century when Immanuel Nobel concluded that several united thinner layers of wood would be stronger than a single thicker layer of wood.

Laminar’s plywood is a particularly homogeneous product: with great physical and mechanical features, very stable due to its composition and thanks to the wood features.

As a result of its constitution, with thin wood veneers - which were cleaned, in the peeling process, from any defects - glued and crossed, the plywood ends up distributing in two directions, the longitudinal resistance of the wooden fibres. The result is a plywood panel with excellent mechanical resistance, traction and flexural strength features.
